When Charley and Taylor, from Williamsburg and Richmond, Virginia, respectively, met in 2018 while seeing Twiddle at the Pour House, they were smitten by the end of the first song. The two dated long distance during Charley’s senior year at the University of South Carolina, often traveling, playing golf, and boating, before making Charleston their home the following spring. When Taylor popped the question on a dock overlooking the Stono River, he surprised Charley with Champagne and a post-proposal celebration with family and friends. The couple tied the knot at the historic William Aiken House, hosting a reception and cocktail hour complete with espresso martinis.
