Bethany, special events coordinator for the city of Charleston, and Kyle, an engineer for Volvo, met in the fall of 2015 and bonded over a mutual love of volleyball. The pair purchased a home in Park Circle three years later, adopted their Labradoodle, Willow, and got engaged in 2021 while walking on Folly Beach. Both Bethany’s father and her friend Courtney Little officiated the ceremony in the Octagonal Gardens at Middleton Place, followed by a cocktail hour at the Crane Pool.
