After Holy City native and interior designer Alexandra hit it off with Jacksonville transplant Brandon on Bumble, the two spent the next three and a half years splitting their time between New York City and Charleston. In October 2020, Alexandra returned home from a work trip to find an apartment filled with flowers, where Brandon would propose. The couple were married at the Charleston Library Society, exiting to the sound of nearby church bells. Afterward, guests moved to the Lenhardt Garden at the Gibbes Museum of Art for a dreamy reception inspired by an overgrown French greenhouse.
