Lowndes Grove Plantation

When Jessica Cope enrolled in pharmacy school at the Medical University of South Carolina, she new she was choosing a career path. But thanks to some new pharmacy school friends, the Virginia native was soon introduced to her future husband, Hanahan native Alan Blackwell, as well. Two years of dating and a proposal later, the pair teamed up with Cory Winn Lambert of Sage Innovations to bring their wedding day dreams to life. “The colors emulated a refreshing pop of tropical hues, bringing energy to the space,” says Cory. And pop it did! from chandeliers jam-packed with floral beauties—including orchids, tulips, poppies, peonies, sweet peas, and more—to the most endearing ring bearer trio you’ve ever seen, the Florida couple's Big Day at Lowndes Grove Plantation was a celebration of love, family, and springtime in the Holy City. "Spending that special time with our families and friends in celebration of our future was blessing," says Jessica of the oh-so happy day.
