Citrus Dream | Summer picnic in the park for your Big Day? We say, oh, yes …

“Our town is draped in color,” says shutterbug Alex Thornton, who dreamt up this inspirational shoot drenched in popsicle hues to highlight just that. When it came to the location, she aimed for an under-the-radar locale: Hampton Park. “It invites you in with all its gorgeous trees, floral displays, green spaces, pond, and gazebo. Every nook and cranny boasts Charleston goodness,” she says. With a roster of local talent onboard, she set about creating an intimate, cheerful vibe in keeping with a “romantic, whimsical, modern aesthetic” says Alex. Citrus accents added freshness to the scene, which we say would fit a summer reception, rehearsal dinner, or brunch just splendidly.
