A Shore Thing

Ashley Doll & Clint Eastman
August 6, 2014
Wild Dunes Resort

Family has always been a top priority for Ashley Doll and Clint Eastman and their wedding day proved no exception. The two, who grew up on the same street, reconnected on Facebook as adults and dated long-distance for two years with visits and a whole lot of Skype dates in between. Video chats often meant playing Candy Land with Clint’s twin girls who took turns drawing Ashley’s cards and moving her pawn in the race to Candy Castle. After Clint proposed, Ashley found Wild Dunes online after searching for an intimate, family-oriented spot to tie the knot. As for the styling, “We wanted the day to feel equal parts romantic and playful—preppy meets nautical New England,” says Ashley. Haley Kelly of A Charleston Bride turned Ashley’s maritime musings into reality with classic blue-and-white striped touches, silver lanterns, nautical knots, and starfish for décor.“It was truly the best day of my life,” says Ashley.
