Teresa Picciotto & Brian Cruse

May 29, 2016

Though Teresa and Brian both hail from Pennsylvania and are graduates of Penn State, it wasn’t until they had moved to Charleston and joined a kickball league that they met and began dating. Three and a half years later, the two were at the Battery filming a video application for The Amazing Race when, “We shot three takes and Brian fumbled his words each time,” says Teresa. After the final take, the camera kept rolling while Brian popped the question. “In retrospect, his excessive sweating and nervousness made sense!” laughs Teresa. The Charleston residents exchanged vows and celebrated with family and friends at the Legare Waring House.
