Styled Bridal Shoot | Folly Beach

What do you get when you combine an Emily Kotarski wedding gown with a gorgeous crown from Emma Katzka and a bouquet of eucalyptus, roses, and pink queen protea? The ultimate Boho look. For this shoot, photographer Kailee D. Shields went for bare beauty, to let Folly Beach’s sand, shore, and sun star. Their day out brought a little more wind than they’d predicted, but instead of fighting it, they embraced the tugging breezes, which made for some truly awesome photos. How do you combat Mother Nature at your real-life beach wedding? “If windblown hair isn’t your desired look,” says Brittany Gerhard of Wild Ivory Beauty, “wear your hair in an updo. But if you desire a more natural approach, there is nothing better than letting the wind tousle your hair.” You’re right on that one, lady. Grab a hot cup of coffee and get ready for some serious inspo, brides. Happy pinning!
