In 2013, St. Clair Shores, Michigan, native Stefany—a corporate flight attendant—flew into Venice, Italy, for business and happened to meet Mirano, Italy-born Daniele, who was working as the Venice airport weather and aviation station manager. After an eight-month courtship, Daniele proposed to Stefany, and, nearly two years later, the pair tied the knot at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina in Mount Pleasant. The couple resides in Campbell, California.
