Virginia natives Emma and Justin met through mutual friends when they were seniors at Radford University. After graduation, they dated long distance for a year and a half, eventually moving to the Lowcountry together. In the spring of 2016, on the way to dinner at High Cotton, Justin surprised Emma with a proposal; family and friends from all over joined the couple that night to celebrate at The Vendue’s rooftop bar. Eight months later, the two wed in The Dewberry ballroom, the bride’s dream mid-century venue. The couple now resides in West Ashley.
