Fallon & Will | Magnolia Plantation & Gardens

Two words that come to mind when looking at Fallon and Will’s intimate elopement at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens: whimsical and elegant. (You’ll shortly see why.) These Delaware natives go way back, but it wasn’t until years later when the two re-met and started their more than “just friends” relationship. Will has always been there for Fallon, especially during the hard time of losing her grandfather. He lent a helping hand throughout it all and Fallon then knew she wanted to spend her life with him. Lucky for her, Will had a plan of his own so she could do just that. One weekend while visiting Fallon’s mom, the couple was headed to a brunch date, but when Fallon came downstairs she was greeted by the family pooch, Bella, who was surrounded by rose petals, wearing a t-shirt that read, “Will you marry me?”

Once upon a time, Fallon lived in Charleston. Reflecting on her year in the Holy City, she tells us, “I always found myself walking the grounds at Magnolia when I needed some time to decompress and reconnect with nature. And OK, maybe I watched Gone With the Wind one too many times. It was always my dream to get married on a southern plantation.” Well, this Northern girl finally got to live out her Scarlett O’Hara fantasy and celebrated in the most “Fallon and Will” way possible. They opted for a private ceremony to give all attention to the commitment they were making to each other. Fallon twirled down the aisle to her man in a blush Hayley Paige gown donning a floral wreath to honor sweet Bella. In attendance were Fallon’s mom and Will’s dad, with two seats in honor of his mother and her grandfather. See that precious pup by Fallon and Bill’s side (at least for a little)? That’s their handsome rescue dog Murphy, who slipped out of his bow tie and sniffed around the oaks for the whole ceremony. These photos by Catherine Ann are can’t-miss.
