Caytie Marie & Nick | Styled Elopement

As we all know, the Holy City plays hostess to a large number of weddings every year (you just need to scroll back through all of our pages of posts to see that). And while some lovebirds choose to hold a full-on shebang with all the works, others are opting for a simpler route. Cue the elopement. These stunning images seen below come from a styled shoot that focuses on capturing the super intimate moments during an elopement. The models had no problem illustrating romance, especially since the two, Caytie Marie and Nick, actually wed this past March, back in the great state of Colorado. Allie Dearie Photography snapped shots at hot spots around the city like Waterfront Park, Rainbow Row (it’s a must!), and the Battery, all while giving a tour to these newbie Lowcountry residents. These Charleston-staple locales make for an incredible backdrop. And this shoot features details (besides the city itself) that make an elopement as memorable as could possibly be. Take for example, this cool custom map, painted in the prettiest of watercolors or this bride’s bouquet— formed from, we kid you not, paper. That’s right. Paper Swallow Events is the one who deserves all the credit for these lovely faux flowers. Now, sit back, relax, and scroll on.
