Brooke Livingston & Kenny Rodriguez

October 11, 2015

A picture may be worth a thousand words, but for Charleston natives Brooke Livingston and Kenny Rodriguez, a snapshot taken in 2014 has led to two especially special words: wedding bells. While celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at Pearlz Oyster Bar in West Ashley, Brooke and a group of pals were posing for a picture. Just before the flash, Kenny—a friend of some of the gals Brooke was standing with—photo-bombed the shot. The shared pals introduced the pair, who quickly discovered a mutual affection for everything from the outdoors, food, and wine, to their furry four-legged companions. After a year and a half of dating, Kenny escorted Brooke back to their original meeting spot for a picture-perfect proposal. The couple will exchange vows on December 10, 2016, at Mount Pleasant’s Cottage on the Creek.
