Bailey Clarke & Matthew Sherrier

November 5, 2016

College of Charleston alums Bailey and Matthew met during their first college varsity swim practice, but didn’t get to know each other until they bumped shoulders at a “hurricane party” a few months later. From that night on, they were inseparable. After an eight-year courtship, Matthew proposed under the Angel Oak on John‘s Island and gifted Bailey a scrapbook filled with love notes, movie tickets, and other relationship mementos. They wed on the Avenue of Oaks at Boone Hall Plantation before a reception at the Cotton Dock.
